Meet Nathan

A Southern California native who found his passion for fitness on the field, then turned it into a career built on real, sustainable results.

  • The spark

Nathan developed his love for an active, healthy lifestyle playing high school football and track and field. That early spark carried him to Brigham Young University (BYU), where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness and turned a childhood love of sports into a professional passion for fitness and nutrition.

  • On BYU's sidelines

His hands-on training started on BYU's football sidelines. While completing his degree, Nathan worked on the football equipment operations staff and trained closely alongside Jay Omer, BYU's former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach — early, real-world exposure to the science of performance and recovery.

  • Gilbert, Arizona

After graduating in 2013, Nathan built his coaching career in Gilbert, Arizona. There, he became a qualified TRX® trainer, led weekly Bootcamp classes, and worked one-on-one with private clients. It's where his passion for group fitness truly took hold, leading him to teach TRX® and other group exercise formats he still coaches today.

  • Beyond the gym floor

Nathan's experience goes beyond the gym floor. He's also worked inside a physical therapy clinic, supporting patients through their exercise rehab programs — giving him a deeper understanding of how to train around injury and build clients back up safely.

  • Coaching today

As a certified online trainer and Glute Specialist, Nathan helps clients make changes that actually stick. He guides clients through dramatic yet sustainable shifts in their nutrition and exercise habits, backed by the structure and accountability of a certified coach.

Outside the gym

When Nathan's not coaching, you'll find him outdoors or cheering on the Cougars. He spends his spare time hiking, visiting national parks, and traveling with his wife, Whitney — and he's a dedicated fan of BYU athletics.
